FAQ – Application/Proposals

How often may our organization apply for funding?
An organization may apply once per year.

May we email our completed application to the Foundation?
The Foundation requires the completed application, Financial History spreadsheet, audited financial statements, and the most recent 990 be emailed in their original format. A hard copy of all the required application materials needs to be mailed to the Foundation’s PO Box or street address, postmarked by the application deadline.

How much money should we request?
The Foundation will generally consider no more than 10 percent of an organization’s operating revenue.

Does the fact that we have obtained grants in the past ensure future grants?
Past grants do not ensure future grants.

We understand our organization may only apply for funding once per year, however, may we request funding for more than one project?
Consideration of more than one proposal annually requires permission from the Foundation.
